Greeley Timothy was a five-sport athlete in the 1920’s. He is considered one of the finest and most versatile talents ever produced in the state of Colorado.
Timothy set records in football, basketball, baseball, track and tennis at Colorado State Teacher’s College (now the University of Northern Colorado).
He is ranked #50 in Sports Illustrated’s Fifty Greatest Sports Figures in Colorado.
He still holds the Colorado High School record for drop-kicking 16 straight extra points and was a coach and golf champion in later years.
